Before you can build, you must own your digital real-address.
Action: Go to a registrar like GoDaddy or Namecheap.
Search: Type in your desired business name.
Privacy:Crucial Step. Ensure "Domain Privacy" is turned ON. This hides your personal home address and phone number from the public WHOIS database.

Step 2: Choose Your Website "Engine"
You need a place for your website to live (Hosting).
For Beginners: I recommend Wix or Squarespace. They are "all-in-one" and very easy to use.
For Scalability: I recommend WordPress. It takes a little more work to set up but gives you 100% control over your business.
Step 3: Connect Your Domain to Your Site
If you bought your domain at GoDaddy but are building your site elsewhere, you must "point" the domain to your site.
In your GoDaddy dashboard, click the DNS tab (you can see this tab in your screenshot next to 'Overview').
Look for Nameservers.
Click Change and enter the two lines provided by your website builder (e.g., ns1.wixdns.net).
Step 4: Add Essential Legal Pages
To advertise on Google or Facebook later, you must have these pages live:
Privacy Policy: Tells users how you handle their data.
Terms of Service: The rules for using your site.
Contact Page: A physical way for people to reach your business.
Consultant’s Note: Most people get stuck at Step 3. If you don't want to deal with DNS settings and "nameservers," I recommend buying your domain and your hosting from the same company. It saves you about 2 hours of technical headache.
